Inventing a new and distinctive style of performance, Jun Tsutsui has won the Kyoto Arts Center Theater Award for his work "More uta" in 2007. He has once again used this unique technique of "playing recordings of spoken lines in delay of actions happening on stage." The story is based from an actual murder case of a mother and Greek tragic myths. What will emerge from this concoction of tragedy and peculiar technique of Tsutsui?

Born in 1971. 39 years old. Winner of 2007 Kyoto Arts Center Theater Arts Award. His major works include "Kuufukusha no ben," (1997) where actor's lines were decided upon the roll of a dice; "Green," (2003) in which the performance lasted up to 20 hours; "Tokushuu Hamlet," (2004) a collage of internet search results under the word "Hamlet"; "More uta,"(2007) and "Hakarazumo," (2008) where recording of lines were played in delay of the actions happening on stage. Other than works under dracom, Tsutsui also has participated as an actor in performances presented by marebito theater company and performances choreographed by Zan Yamashita.
