In his recent works director Takahiro Fujita continues to portray the particular nature of the age 14, a period on the edge between child and adult. By methods such as temporally parallelizing scenes like layers or tagging symbolic scenes by repeating them in different contexts, he has gained acclaim for his unique directorial style. The topic of his new work is a volleyball match. Memories, scenes of the past and the present, pop up like the motion of a ball.
