Pijin Neji
Choregrapher, Dancer
Choregrapher and dancer, born in 1980 in Akita. From 2000-2004 he was a member of the Butoh company Dairakudakan under Akaji Maro. Independent from 2005 he has worked on solo dance with a microscopic approach to his own body, as well as choreography treating the body in a very physical way. He works in experimental units collaborating with other artists and in event projects in vacant spaces. He received the Yokohama Dance Collection EX2011 Jury Prize.
