Noboru Tsubaki
Visual Artist
Born in 1953 in Kyoto. He is know for his large-scale work that is both socially aware and sensorily stimulating. He exhibited at the 1993 Venice Biennale and the 2001 Yokohama Triennale. In 2009, his solo exhibition "GOLD/WHITE/BLACK" was held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto. In 2010, he took part in Roppongi Art Night as one of the main artists in the event, and contributed to the Setouchi Triennale. He also currently teaches at Kyoto University of Art and Design.
