Summary
The end of company JIENSHA views theatre as a tool for spotlighting the frustrations of communication and sharing the voices that are voiceless. The concept for the performance - playing a game of Shogi 1 move a day for 120 days - arose from director Honsuke Sakusha's inquiry into from where we view it necessary to explain daily actions to another person. From where is the border of "understanding" born?
